Looking for source for Philips BU4508DX HOT. This part is discontinued and not found on Newark, Digikey or Mouser. Any good sources for this part or any suggested alternates.

This is a generic number and may have different subs available. To access the pertinent information, I need the Brand and Model Number of the TV set and the schematic location of the component. (Just to make sure we are on the same page.)

Magnavox MS3250 C321

Chassis 32T800 7629

Transistor Reference Designator is 7460. Marking on the part is BU4508DX.

Easy,

Go to http://www.vancebaldwin.com or http://www.searspartsdirect.com and order your part under the part number 934055092127.

You do not need an account number and can order from either one as they both have them in stock. As far as I know, this part is not a discontinued part.

It is VERY important to resolder the HOT Drive transformer before you turn the set on and to check all of the secondary diodes in the Flyback circuit.
