Pls i just need some help i have a hp laptop 6735x & a battery with 2-output <19v> for my canon printer, i tried the 30v and it worked on the laptop but the 19v only blink and off. Now can i use the 30v? What consequence does it have?The input of the laptop is 19v,

Whoooa, hang on. What happens if we use a 12 volt bulb on 24V, it's gonn'a go 'POP'!

But, we could actually do this by using a voltage regulator but it would have to be a substantial one mounted on a heat sink to be able to handle the current... and for that piece of mind use an over voltage trip as well, using say a MC3423 over voltage chip driving a crow bar thyristor or relay to disconnect should the regulator go faulty.... otherwise you 'could' end up with a 'busted' laptop just like that light bulb.

Those with very little electronic knowledge I would say forget about it for the sake of the laptop.
