Hello guys, I have durabrand tv with no vertical. A horizontal line run right across, I can only hear sound from it. I take it apart but I didn't see any dry joint on the ic. Please help. Model is DWT1905. Thanks |

I am planning on removing the ic, but how do I check it with a volt metre? One more thing before this happen, sometime when u power up tv it auto shut off same time. Only sometime that happen tho and I check board for open circuit but could find any. Do u know what was causing auto power off sometime? I must say this tv is about 3 years old and been running like 24/7. Hardley turn off. |

Look up the datasheet for the IC. Make sure power source(s) are reaching the appropriate pin(s).
Many sets take samples of the horizontal and vertical deflection signals for OSD (On Screen Display) positioning, which also tells the microprocessor those two circuits are functioning. |
