I have a Dynex DX-LCD32-09 that no longer shows a picture. I have opened the TV and have removed the inverter board. I started by testing the secondary windings on all 14 transformers. Transformer 302,104,103,102,101 all have open windings. The strange thing is the someone is selling a non working inverter on Ebay. I asked him to test his inverter and the exact same transformers are open on his board to.
could this be caused by a certain part that has gone bad. |

So turns out that the transformers are supposed to be connected that way. I purchased the broken inverter board off of eBay and proceeded to remove what I thought was the good transformers and install them on the board that had all of what I thought was the bad transformers removed. The good transformers still showing open.
when I thought all hope was lost, I located this small circuit on the inverter that had another fuse and such. turns out that fuse was blown and replacing it now the TV works. I now have two working units. I guess I have a spare. but the TV now has worked for several days with out any issues. I hope this will help someone. |

Hello,
I know this thread is a several months old, but I have the same problem.
Would anyone kindly post up a picture of the small circuit and fuse referred to by ntehicks?
Thank you |

I have the same issue on my DXLCD32-09 and replaced the power supply and that wasn't it. If it is a simple fuse on the inverter board I would love to see that pic too ntehicks. Have tried to figure out how to PM but can't figure out how to. I'm sure they would notify me if you sent it to me in a PM |

This board intentionally does not have Private messaging capabilities for 2 reasons.
1. It is our intent to leave a repair trail behind for others to follow.
2. spammers were trying to register and PM everyone with enormous amounts of spam, making the PM feature essentially useless. |
