I'm not following your progression of events here. Can you restate that and use some punctuation so that I might better understand?

Ok, Emerson tv went dead. Before tv when dead, a line appear across the display. So i hit the side of tv, thinking that the line would go away but the line would'nt go away. I then power off the tv and from that, tv cant power up again. When i hit the power button i can hear the fly-back make a sound.

Thank you.

you state both "across" and "vertical" for the line. I just want to confirm that this line you were seeing went from top to bottom.

(that would be unusual)

Ok. that would be a Horizontal line, not vertical. That's also good news, because it means that your vertical output IC has failed, or the power supply to it has failed.

First try resoldering it. If that doesn't work, replace it.

I have resolder the ic, but still no progress! That mean i will have to replace it. What about the other two stuff that attached on the heat zinc? I assume they are diode. I will keep u updated as soon as i replace the IC.
