This TV is a Gateway 2003 model and believe it mostly uses LG parts.
I have visually checked all components for leakage an domed compositors
but all looks well. I have some skills with electronics would appreciate
any help in what to check and how.

Check solder joints on plug-in connectors. Especially power supply ones.

Checked all joints an board really well but all looks ok.

The problem is flashing with vertical lines.

In-between the flashing or pulsing (!/2 second each) picture is OK [img]

I took a short video but can't seem to figure out how to post here?

Any other ideas as to what is causing this?[/img]
