My GE HDTV ready tv flashes to a black screen a few times, then you hear a pop and it turns off. If I wait a few seconds, it will turn on but after a few more seconds will do the same thing.
Any help would be appreciated.

Which one of the many GE's is it? I'm positive they've made more than the one you have!
