Picked this thing up cheap a few months ago. Was working fin e until the other day. Now I can turn it on, I hear a click like the relay is pulling in but it never displays anything. I don't hear any sound either. After reading through some other posts I was sure it was IC901= STRM6511. I replaced it but still have the same results. I'm not sure what to check now. Anyone got any ideas? |

Checked and I'm not getting anything on the high voltage side. Anyone got any suggestions? |

What about CP902 and ZD904.
Do you mean secondary side of transformer that IC901= STRM6511 feeds? |

I don't seem to be getting anything out of the flyback transformers.
I'll check CP902 and ZD904 and let you know what I find. |

Are you getting secondary (B-Plus) voltages out of the SMPS? |

If the Relay that clicks is RL901, the probable failure is:
Q902 Transistor
R922 Resistor
ZD-904 Zener Diode
CP-902 IC Protector
IC901 - Regulator
Since you have replaced the regulator, all of the rest can be checked with a DVM.
Hope this helps
