Where can I purchase the 2 STK convergence chips?
Is there a guide somewhere to show me how to replace these parts? |

I looked in the back of the tv and it does look like I need 3.
Are there any other items I should replace while I am at it?
Thanks for the help. |

check the resistors directly around them. Theyre usually fine, but check them anyway with an ohm meter. Also make sure you use some heatsink compound between the new chips and the heatsink. |

surface mount capacitors. those are extremely difficult to replace. I would not recommend that unless you have any symptoms that require it. What exactly are your symptoms? |

The colors will not align correctly which is why I purchased the 3 chips.
There is a blue wave kinda light in the upper left hand corner of the screen which I hope may be cured by the Convergence chips.
I will try to take a couple pictures.
Thanks again. |
