Could I get you to confirm the model number? Hitachi shows a ux57 @ 58 but no UX59. Also check the chassis number so we are on the same page.
Just as a guess I looked at the ux57 (the number seven could be mistaken for a 9).
Also, as I do not know what level you are at, I need to ask.
Did you replace C707 because of what you read or because it was bad?
Using the UX7 as model there is no E944 or any E94 anything for that matter so I assumed you mean't E994.
Recheck E994 to see if it has reblown.
If it has, check C701 and D604
Hope this helps

If this is correct then yes they all have continuity if it is not.How do i check it the right way..Thanks again for your Time and Help |

If you used the ohms scale at a low value (RX1) or (RX10) you should only get a blip on the capacitor. You should not read continued continuity.
The E994 should not make the meter respond at all if it is bad.. It should read 0 Ohms if it is good. On the low scale the capacitor should read infinity. If it does not, it is bad. If you have a capacitor checker built in to your meter make sure your meter has enough range or you will get an erronious reading.
The other two components I listed can also cause the pico sized fuse to open.

If you jumper the E994 fuse you risk doing more damage. Just measure across at R X 1 scale or if your meter autoranges it will read 000.0 for a good component and will read infinity or quit high, 3K or greater, for a bad component.
