hello, i stumbled on your website, and thought it was very cool how you cleaned that tv.
I am an electronics technician, and clean alot of tv's ...we have a little bit more of a sophisticated approach though...we use de-ionized water, and we discharge the tv first. we also use heaters to dry the tv afterwards, the heaters get up to 117 degrees..
never would have thought your way would have worked...i like the website alot... |

Thanks, I'd be interested to see your setup.
I've done this several other times with circuit boards, but this is the only time I washed the whole TV off. Usually I use a dishwasher (no soap) and then leave the circuit boards on the front dash of my car to dry out. That only works in the summer time though. That's probably pretty ghetto compared to your work.
