I picked up an Insignia NS-LCD37 last weekend and I'm trying to repair it. Of course the problem, as with most LCD's, is that it won't turn on. No blinking light either.

I looked for blown capacitors and did not find any. Since it won't turn on, I assumed the power board. I was able to purchase the whole board for about $30, so I figured that would be better than going through and testing the board (time vs money). Anyway, I replaced the power board and it still won't turn on.

Can someone make a suggestion as to what part to look at next?

Of course, you could have received a defective "100% fully tested, pulled from a working set with a broken screen" board. Wink
