| Hi, I have a JVC HD61FN97 DLP TV. Recently the color has been out of whack. Most noticeably there is a bright red tint in areas that typically should be black or other dark shades. There is also a bright blue sometimes where whites should be. This persists regardless of which input I am using. What confuses me most however is that occasionally I turn the TV on and the picture looks utterly perfect. I believe in vain that maybe the problem has fixed itself and that it will continue to look fine but inevitably I turn it on again later and the ugly red tint is everywhere once again. Tried to research the issue online and am led to believe it is likely either the color wheel or the light engine that is the cause. Hoping that by some chance I am wrong though. Any information or troubleshooting ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. |
