Samsung HCM4215W 42 in. Rear Projection Television has badly burnt low-ohm resistors on convergence board P55A AA41-00601A, PARTS LOCATION NUMBERS RZ142 and RZ143. I don't have a schematic and it is impossible to determine the value of the resistors. Took a wild guess and replaced the resistors with two 6.5 ohm 1/2 watt resistors, but the same problem occured (immediate shutdown). If this value is a little higher than the originals, would this create the same problem??? If so, does anyone have the values of RZ142 and RZ143??? Your assistance would be greatly appriciated.

Replace the STK392-010 IC's,
resistor values are
rz126,125,123,124,142,143,144,145,146,147 = 3.9 ohm 2 watt
RFZ50 & 53 = 150 Ohm 1 Watt
RZ129,132,149,148,130 & 131 = 150 Ohm 2 Watt

If the resistors overheat after replacing the IC's and burn't resistors, you will have to replace the DCU and do a major, major convergence alignment that will REQUIRE a template.

Hope this helps

Jesse

Hey Jesse Mack, thanks for the information. I was corresponding with easyab and he gave me the exact info as you. So, I'm in the process of switching out parts. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks again.
