Pleese help.. I bought a couple of magnavox tv for my remodeled home. one of my tv's Model # 37MF231D is giving me problems. at first it seems to be working fine. but after about 30-45 mins the picture goes black and white. everything else seems to be working fine just no color. we dont have an auth magnavox repair fac here in Hawaii. I am a skilled Tech but i dont have proper test equiptment. Your help will be greatly apreciated. Thank you very much

No proper test equipment required for this. The Scaler board has failed and is not repairable with the equipment shops have. (The IC's that have failed for this problem requires a $10,000 computer operated soldering and desoldering machine to remove and replace and the IC's which, unless purchased in a large enough quantity, cost way too much.)

Answer: Purchase part number 313815866271 from Andrews, MCM or Vance Baldwin. If you have a business license, Andrews has the best price. (215.00 + 150 Core with license or 306.24 + 150 core without.)

This is NOT the crystal problem.
