I have a 37mf231d/37 HDTV that has a blinking light went I turn it on.
There is no picture. Form my internet reasearch I think it might be
bad caps in the power supply,
How do I open the thing without breaking the enclosure? Is there
anyone that could walk me through this type of repair? I figure it will
take several post before I can figure if it is worth repairing this TV
Thank you, |

I have the set apart and I have the power supply.
Now I need to be able to tell which caps are bad.
Is there a way to do that?
Thank you, |

Here's the service bulletin. Replace the Scaler or Main board. But check for voltages at plug 1503 on scaler and plug 1089 on power board.
