This set appears to not have the lamp bank lighting. No schematic on it to trouble shoot. Anyone got any ideas. It isn't listed in force32 either unless I need an update.
TIA

Symptoms:
• TV will not start up (appears dead, but the front panel LED may light)
• TV will shut down after warming up
• No color
• Loss of color after warming up
• No or poor audio
• Poor picture
Cause: For the production date code ranges listed below, the output of
Crystal 1H00 for the Viper IC on the Small Signal Board reduces in amplitude
and/or the crystal oscillator stops oscillating.
26MF231D with date codes of 624 or lower (BZxxx624xxxxxxxx or lower).
32MF231D, with date codes of 626 or lower (BZxxx626xxxxxxxx or lower).
37MF231D, 37MF321D, and 37MF331D with date codes of 623 or lower
(BZxxx623xxxxxxxx or lower).
42MF231D, with date codes of 631 or lower (BZxxx631xxxxxxxx or lower).
Solution: Replace crystal 1H00 with a new type, part number 823827736071.
Replace capacitors 2H08 and 2H09 with 4.7pF capacitors, part number
223886975478. See the attached photos for locations of the crystal and capacitors.

You are going to need all of the confidence you can muster because these
parts are NOT easy to install even by a by a skilled technician. If you
damage the board, a new one costs $147.84 net from a distributor
(207.49 Retail) plus a $150.00 core that you will have to eat if you
damage the old board.

Thanks for sticking up for me, but I don't know if all this is really necessary. I wasn't really ever offended. |

If it's not too much to ask, I could really use the pictures/locations of the 2H08 and 2H09 capacitors. I looked all over the net and the circuit board. THANK YOU, in advance! |

Check cap 2074 on the power supply board. It is probably
all bulged out. Replace with 2200uf 35volt, instead or 25volt.
No credit here found it on another site. Checked mine,
bingo!!! |
