I have a Mitsubishi WD-52531 that has a green cast, especially on the right half of the screen. I have tested it on HDMI input as of now, but have not tested other inputs. If this series has a history of such problems on specific inputs let me know and I will test them.

I'm waiting on parts for my other TV to arrive and this one was given to me a while back from a family member. They were told that repairs would be $700-800+ and that they should buy a new TV. I was curious if someone could help me trouble shoot this one? Is there a history of problems?

I have a copy of the service manual, but I don't see anything in it as far as troubleshooting goes (ie: where to start, what is the most likely culprit to check first before radiating out).

PS. If I had to place money on it from what I've been able to gain from other searches etc, I'd bet it is most likely light engine related. If that is the case it seems I can't find any info regarding rebuilding/repairing the light engine, only complete replacement.
