Hello forum,

Need some help figuring how If my big screen is worth fixing. I was watching TV yesterday and it all sudden shut off by it self. I tried turning it back on (green light on front panel shows) but instantly turns off by it self. I hear clicking noises when I turn it on before it turns off.

I read somewhere online to do a test by pressing and holding the buttons "Device" and "Menu" at the same time to see what lights flash on the front panel. Green light blinks twice followed by paused and blinks twice again. Does that about 4 or 5 times.

Please help! Is it worth repairing? or should I toss it?

THANKS!

This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the Front Panel 'Input' & 'Menu' at the same time for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times.

Error Code ... Description
12 No error has occurred.
21 X-Ray Protect circuit.
22 Short Protect circuit. (short protect monitors low voltage supplies)
23 Deflection failure.
