I have entered the service mode finally and sadly it's nothing like my old maganavox which had a user friendly way to correct convergence. My problem is basically the convergence is out of focus along the edges. The lines all are sharp and align perfectly in the center but on the sides of the screen the convergence is off. Also I have several more options in my service menu then what everyone else had posted. Here is the line up:
B,C,D,P,S,Y,W,V
After those modes it returns to the red chk. What I need to know is there a guide which will explain what each mode and values in each mode correspond to? I need to tweek the outer convergence to have a perfect picture again and I'm not calling a service man as they will charge 2 time the price we paid for the tv. Thanks. |

Service Manual should explain Service Menu.
Just bear in mind: A lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client.

thanks. does anyone have a link to the service guide for this tv? Mods please move this to the correct thread. I have the user guide but I have searched for weeks trying to find a service guide and cant find anything.
