gentlemen (and ladies ) ,

got a Philips 50pf7320a/37, with a code error on the smps #8 which is Ve error, traced the error to the x-main board and found a blown fuse...easy fix right? WRONG, replaced fuse and nothing happened, getting the 12v to this board from smps. well I assumed x-main bad, replaced it, adjusted Ve settings and turned system on......BAM! fuse blows again :>(

My question... what could cause this to happen? I got the service manual but it is pretty much geared towards the Viper software that Philips service guys use (I am not a service guy). I am puzzle and stuck, any extra help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

By the way, here are the TV symptoms: power on and goes into standby safety mode, if I unplug the X-main from power supply get sound and picture (picture very pinkish in color) Please help

Thanks to all that reply
