The first problem was the tv would come on but the colors were seperated. I figured it was a converence issue and replaced both converence ics. I checked the resisters and found all too be good. Now the second problem is I re-installed the converence board and hooked everything back up. Now when I turn the tv on, it comes on for a couple of seconds and turns off. No picture or sound. Does anyone know what might be the problem???

I would suggest removing the convergence board again and USING A MAGNIFYING GLASS. examining the soldering on the convergence IC's. This is not a test of you soldering abilities, bridges between solder points can be very small and is a VERY common thing to find when IC's are replaced.

Hope this helps.
