just picked up this tv and i was told 2 bulbs were bad but i plugged it in and the bulbs seem fine to me. The picture was extremely red and kind of blurry. I played around with the controls on the tv but didn't really get anywhere. I adjusted the color intensity inside the tv and got rid of the excessive red but there isn't really any color destinction on the tv. Its almost like black and white tv with minimal color. You can change the intensity of the colors and for more red/blue/green but no actually color from whats on the screen. I did a hasty search about the fluid in the crt needing changed and i plan on this but i'm looking for guidance as to if that seems like a possible fix for my picture problems.

thanks in advance.

if any pictures are needed i can take them. i haven't pulled the screens and looked down the the lenses yet but i'll see if i can do that tomorrow. I'm guessing thats what you guys are going to tell me unless i'm wrong.

i pulled the screen and looked into the lenses. The green and blue looked like a bush inside. I'd say thats a good sign its filthy in there. I'm going to order the coolant kit and fix this thing and have a working tv on the cheap for my man cave.
