Phillips model 46PFL3608/F7

When I turn on the TV the entire screen flashes white and then I hear a sound as it goes black (completely shutting off).

I had the EXACT problem. Do not waste money swapping parts. Whatever screws you used on the base, they are too long. Go with shorter screws, and poof, fixed. No joke.
