I have phillips magnavox tv chasis model #3667007585 TV model number TP3697B101. we had a power surge that came through our brighthouse cable feed. It completely blew out our HD tv but this tv only seams like it did something to the cable input. the tv is 11 years old and they want $90 just to look at it. I can't afford a new tv or to have someone fix this one so I want to try to fix it myself. I am pretty handy so I don't think it will be a problem if I can figure out what parts need replacing. The tv comes on just fine all the onscreen programming is fine but i get no feed from the input jacks ( I tried our wii on aug inputs) and no input from the cable line. I have looked for burnt areas and see none.
Any Ideas where to start? |
