My RCA D52W26 is really blurry when I am watching somethign with high black/white contrast. Menus, tv guide, tickers etc are all so blurry you can't really read them. This is also the case with our Wii (which is hooked up vai HD cables) If you turn the contrast way down (almost none) the writing is clearer but the picture is vey dark. I have tried both the auto & manual convergence, jiggled the connections, changed ports in the back.

Any ideas? It wasn't always like that Sad

Dec 28: I called RCA and they said that the digital board was failing and needs to be replaced. Is this something I could do myself? I have done work on my computer so I wouldn't think it would be too hard. I have also read that the fuse sometimes causes problems with the digital board. is it possible that it might only be the fuse that needs replacing?

Not knowing what boards are referred to, but I just removed boards from my TV to do a cleaning of them....a few wires and screws and these things tend to snap out....how much the board would cost to replace is another question I guess....or maybe the first one.

I can tell you its not a fuse. outside of that, I'm having trouble figuring out how it could be the digital board at fault. What source are you using for it?

It sounds more like a CRT problem to me.
