This Tv can be turned on, after long time did not turn on, or unplug it and check some parts, then it can turned on. But only once, If turned off then can not turn on it. It will shut down just after turn on. When it stay on, screen can have picture. This prove that H, V circuit are OK. Power supply circuit only can find out one Capacitor slightly dry out . no. C4102 2.2uf 100V. I have checked all the caps that on the power supply and horizontal output stage and put in new one test it but can not fix the problem. After shut down The B+ 145V. It is not HOT as loading. I think it is normal. When turned on and stay on, it should be at 140V.
Please help. Thank you c4101, c4102, c4104, c4108, c4145, c4401, c4402, cr4418,cr4401, cr4402,q4101, q4401, t4401, are all checked OK, Which is the tips from Eric.

I would change CR4118. This has been known to check OK but still be bad and has also known to be intermittent.

Ming see this for that problem........

RCA CTC169 DV chassis' PWS problems:

Measuring the cathodes of CR4101 & CR4106 we find the value to be over 5 volts apart when compared to hot ground. This voltage must be only 1 volt apart. Typically CR4101 must be 11.7 volts 10.7. In this case we had 14.9 and 9.4 volts CR4101 & CR4106 respectively. Suggest replace CR4101, CR4106, & C4102 (207878 & 2.2 mfd. @ 100vdc) & C4108 (39 MFD @ 50 v. dc).

Also, there is a 3.3V zener diode that goes to the chopper transistor base, I'd replace it as well.

Note: 207878 is a kit. Small diode is CR4106 large diode is CR4101. The
C4108 cured the trouble.
