Its an RCA EN-V 26" HDTV I put a dvd in the side of it and I can hear the sound but the screen is white. Any suggestions? I think Ive seen this same question but saw no answer, actually no answer anywhere on the internet.

Thanks for any help!

What about other functions. Does the screen stay white with sound while watching regular TV?

I'll have to get a universal remote. There is a menu button on the tv itself but its not showing anything when I press that. Not sure if its different with a remote doing it. When I press power it does green red green red green red green etc etc about 13 greens before it comes on. Im not sure if thats a normal thing on a working rca tv.
