Received this 55" TV from my neighbor who said if I can fix it - it's mine.
Note: I do not have the remote, unfortunately. So I am unable to use the factory reset mode to see if my problem is fixed - it requires the arrow keys on the remote to confirm.
Anyway.
Issue: Both HDMI ports - it says "no signal". I have tried all 3 of my Chromecasts and Kindle Fire Sticks. So my initial thought was the board might be an issue.
THEN - the HD antenna works just fine. The component cables work just fine as well. It is only the HDMI ports.
I have looked into the back panel and everything seems fine. There are a couple plugs that do not have anything plugged into. I do not see a loose wire or anything like that during my brief examination.
The picture below shows the board with everything except red circles plugged in.

What makes you think main board? Is the main board the same thing as the part I showed in the picture? |

Think it's worth the 40-60 bucks to get a new board? Currently, my father has a 50" Toshiba Plasma TV. I am sure this TV is much, much better.
I can only use component cables on this TV due to the lack of HDMI working.
Not sure what to do about the Fire Stick, which he uses. The HDMI to component converters themselves are already $40 to begin with. |

Not my money.
If you decide to try board be SURE that numbers match. Visit ShopJimmy. All I had was your sets model number and obtaining 'correct' board requires more than that. |
