The tv turns off by itself. Is it the power supply or the reflecting board? how to tell and how to fix?
I have tried turning off for a few hours and that works for a while but after a few weeks of that it is doing it more frequently. |

Your model is a DLP with the ATC351 chassis chances are the AC in board has an issue. You can get the AC IN Board from www.tvrepairworld.com under RCA circuit boards. Does the power indicator flash? If so how many times. |

Well no I guess it dosn't shut right off, but the picture goes black then the blue light clicks five times, Trying to restart it. then the picture does come back, only to last five minutes. Some times up to two hours.
Sorry for the confusion as you may understand I am relaying this from my wife! lol , it's her T.V.
Thanks very much for your attention to this.

the first thing to check would be the LED diode D823 located on the AC IN board and seeing which color it is. That will give you an indication as to the power supply's condition. |
