Chassis ATC361B
When I plug it in the blue power light is on & then goes off after about 5 seconds. If I push the button it lights again & then shuts off. No blinking. The bulb appears to be fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! |

Hoping this will help in directing me where to test. The fuse is ok, there are no obvious bad caps, the coils are continuous, there is one bad looking solder on the bottom where a pin from a heat sink comes through, no other obvious breaks or burned areas. There is a click when plugged in or attempt to hit powere button but just one & no flashing before it goes off (in 3-5 seconds) - not sure whre to procede.

There is a ground (see lower left of image) - looks like there should have been someting connected there - is just for testing or is ther a missing wire? |

The two connectors on the right appear to be well labeled (although I can't make it out). Are all voltages specified there - there? |

So are they there or not?
+6VS & +13VS I presume are "Switched" supplies; There when set is "running;"
+5V_STB I presume 5V standby; there whenever set is plugged in;
+12VA I presume 12V "All Time;" there whenever set is plugged in. |

I am not a trained tech so I need direction on where to place my probes when testing for these
Should I remove baord - plug in & place my probes specifically where when checking each pin. Don't want to cause more problems by shorting someting out.
Concerning my previous post above - is there supposed to be something connected to GRND 1 seen on the left side or is this where I place my neg probe when testing the pins for voltages (DC voltages?).
Thanks in advance for your help! |
