Hi,

RCA rear projection TV RCA 61960
Chassis PTK195Y06T

For some days the screen had like black drops on the left side and some times also on the right side. But the last time I turned it on after some seconds the screen did close from the bottom to top. It was like a black curtain slowly going up and now I only have audio and no video. I have tested the HOT off board with an analogue meter and it is ok.
hope you can help me soon solving this problem.

I would check the vertical output to see if the CRts are in shutdown due to loss of vertical as thats a safety feature that prevents the CRTs from being damaged when vertical deflection is lost.

Were is the vertical deflection circuit located is it behind the flyback transformer?

Its all the way up on the front right corner of that board attached to a heat sink its location number is U14501.
