Dear all,
I made a big mistake by changing the service mode configuration : X-ray on
and now the tv starts only for 3 sec and then goes to off. it is impossible to go to the service menu. I am thinking about changing the eeprom to a blank one , do you think that this will solve my problem ? is there another solution.
Thanks

Try this,
2. Enter the Service Mode by pressing the remote control keys in the following sequence:
Power ON -- Power Off Info Menu Mute Power On
Since you are powering the unit off you should be able to catch the power off command within the 3 second time frame of powering the set on. If you power the unit off before the x-ray protect engages you should be able to complete the sequence. Remember, you do not have to enter the complete sequence before the set shuts off, only the power off command.

this is approximatively what i have on the tv
during 3sec of powering :
-2.5 sec of blue screen
- 0.5 sec of the service menu and then auto power down
according to your explanation this is what i've tried
I've tried to power off during the first 2 second -> no effect
it goes to off after displaying service menu
I've tried to power off duing the 0.5 second, it goes immediatly to off.
Is there a very precise timing ?

This is the Key!!
You want the set to power off with the "power off" command. Just enter the rest of the sequence after the power off command is successfull. Do not enter the sequence too fast. Use approximately 1 second for each command.
Hope this helps.

I do not know if that would work as I know that some eeprom's come pre-programed by the manufacturer and some sets have a rom for the basic settings that will autoload a new eeprom. If you try this, (they are cheap) I would strongly advise getting the original from the manufacturer using the original part number thru a distributor.
Hope this helps.

Hi Jesse,
After several try I gave up, But now I am trying to reprogram the
eeprom,
I got some dump on the follwing site,
http://master-tv.com/proshivki/tv/Samsung-eeprom-memory-dump.html
My model is CS-29M16QQ
and they provide only for CS-29M16ZQQ and MGG.
Where do you think i could find the one for my model,
Do you think that there is a big diffrence between mine and those provided
ZQQ, MGG
thanks

Without service literature for this model I cannot answer your question.
I see you live in Paris and are using the PAL system. If you have access to the eeprom data you also need a way to install the data in the eeprom. Such as a programmer. If you have the service literature simply disconnect the x-ray detect circuits from the flyback to stop the shutdown. I do not have a schematic so I cannot tell you what to disconnect.
