Gentlemen,
Had a problem with convergence, changed the STKs, the pico fuse, and the fuse resistors. The set worked fine, had a beautiful picture, for about two hours and then shut down. Thought it might be a solder issue so I removed main deflection board and checked for cold solder joints. Replaced board, powered up, and the set worked for about 30 seconds and shut down again. Disconnected the convergence board, powered up and the set stayed on (without convergence). When re-connecting the convergence board, I noticed a spark as I connected the first wire to the far left of convergence board. I don't have a schematic and I'm at my wits-end. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
