I am trying to fix a Samsung DLP model HL67A510J1FXZA. The tv comes on, but after about 10 seconds shuts off and continues to cycle power. I read that it could be a bad capacitor on the power board. I found two large black capacitors that have a slight bulge. I went ahead and ordered some capacitors that I thought would be the same based on the markings on the side. When they came in, they are much smaller. Can anyone tell me what type of Cap. I need to order. Thanks in advance. |

samsung large black capacitors
About 687,000 results (0.37 seconds)
Way too many results for me to wade through.
Can you try to get the numbers next to each one on the circuit board (ie C402, C1706, etc.)? |

Thanks. They look like the big ones pictured in the link. Forgive me as I am new to capacitors and TV repair, but when you say be sure it is not the insulators, what do yo mean by that. Are the insulators a different part or are they part of the capacitor? Thanks again. |

Thanks...you have been a big help. Not sure if it is capacitors that are bad, but I figure it is worth a shot to get it working. |
