Hello,
I am working on a Samsung HP-T5054. Unit originally produced sound, but no picture.
Removed backing and examined boards. The Y Sustain board had a blown capacitor in location C5709, and the boards fuse was blown.
Replaced both and powered unit back on.
As soon as you hear the power supply kick on the speakers now make a popping noise, and the tv shuts off. If I unplug the Y board the television will power on normally, but of course with no picture.
Any suggestions? |
