I'd read lots of reports about bad capacitors in the power supply. Mine were not bulging, and replacing them did not affect this symptom.
This youtube video is of the same model, and its symptoms are identical.
I had bad capacitors (with high ESR) on the Logic Board BN94-01442B. These are all surface mount capacitors:
C104 (100uF,16V)
C188 (22uF,16V)
C192 (100uF,16V)
C193 (22uF,16V)
C191 (2.2uF,50V)
C181 (22uF,16V)
C112 (100uF,16V)
C536 (100uF,16V)
I recommend high temp replacements, as this TV puts off a fair amount of heat. I used 105 degreeC caps.
I first bought a used logic board from EBay, but it also had bad caps on it. So it seems likely that any used one is probably suffering from the same issues. |
