When Ii switch power on a green horizontal line appears in the center..when I power off a green spot appears and travels to the center of the screen ,the unit shuts down,,now a red dot appears on power off...otherwise the TV works fine no disturbance on any channels..what seems to be wrong and what shd i do ..pls help.

model32Z4HN incidently i also have a Sony tv that works ok except that there is color streaking mostly green and the color is very light ..my mechanis says cannot be repaired the crt is defective..any ideas.Thanks

I updated the title of your first post to show the model number. That should help more people be able to provide help. You should start a new thread for your sony tv AND PROVIDE THE MODEL NUMBER.
