| I got this sanyo model ds35590 chassis 35590-00. It wont power on. It does make a high pitched squeal (not real loud, you have to lean in to hear it) when it is plugged in. The neck of the tube doesnt glow. So I did the visual look around but nothing obvious, no smoked resistors, swelled caps or broken solder traces that I could see, so I started poking around with the voltmeter. I checked voltage at the plug, and fuse and all looked okay. When I go to the HOT and check for voltages, I cant find any. Same way with the flyback. Weird thing is the high power resistor next to the flyback was warm, so it was getting power? What is the proper way to check the HOT, or any other ideas? |
