Hey everybody! I am in desperate need of a ribbon cable for this tv. I have looked and looked and looked with no results :-/
The part number on the ribbon itself reads "YS1026.001868". I tried to call the manufacturer to maybe get a parts number list, but no luck. If somebody has one here that i can buy or knows of a place to obtain one i would GREATLY appreciate it! Smile

ya, i have searched with the board number and all i find is that this board is also used in the Sony KDL series. The ribbon cables that are shown for the Sony's look exactly the same physically, but the part number is different :-/

They may 'be' the Same. All you really need are for them to be the SAME:

1) Length (could within reason go longer)
2) Number of conductors (could 'trim' to a lesser number) &
3) Same Distance between center points of conductors (Number of conductors per distance - twelve per half inch, 20 per inch, etc.)
4) Thickness is last, some are plain, some have backer, some have other termination.

I'm assuming since the board is an exact match, then the only thing that will matter is the length.

So with the literature available via Elektrotanya and the Sony Model number(s), you may be able to find out the nomenclature that Sony knows them by.

Then, as you say, how close 'the other boards' are mounted to each other ...
