I just got this scope tonight and not sure how to test it to see if it works or if it is broken. I found the on button and the top lcd counted down. but I get nothing on the screen. not sure if I need test leads hooked up for the screen to come up. any help would be much appreciated. thanks. |

Did they give you a copy (at least) of the owner's manual? |

When I traded my SC-61 in I must have returned the literature too, cause I can't find it with the rest of the literature for the current Sencore products I own.
Also, It's been a dozen or more years since I last used.
I found a site that has a pretty good picture of the front panel.
Intensity is also On/off switch if memory serves. Black pushbuttons under CRT are for selecting channel - Top-most Black 6 pushbuttons in a vertical line are for selecting what's displayed on the digital LCD display. Volts.Div (A&B) Center knob (Cal) fully CW Also same for Timebase/freq. (These are VERY important for waveform on CRT display, But have NO effect on the reading in the digital LCD display.) |
