Picked up two tv's from a storage auction. One had a cracked screen so I gutted it and threw it away.
The second one is Sony, It has a black screen when I turn it on I can see a very faint change in color on the screen, it has sound. When i open it I can see the white light behind it blinking? |

Yes, you know when you take the back off and all the vent holes you can see the white light on in the holes. I can see the light blinking. |

Enable line to inverter changes as light blinks?
Could have one or more bad electrolytic capacitors.
If two sets were both mishandled, could have broken ccfl bulb(s).
Do blinks occur at a steady rate or are they random? |

It's a constant flash like a strobe light. |

Will set run with one end (either end) of the flat white ribbon cable in center of pix disconnected? If Yes, does it still flash? |
