All it does is blink green then switches to red under the lamp label on front. The red just keeps blinking forever. I went through all 31 pages of the forum with no luck.

Please help me figure this out. Thanks

tried it. no similar problems solved there. TV is still broke and no help on the horizon. Sad . I tried the code thing it don't work either.

Blinking forever does not compute.

Most likely a code blink as in "red blinks 3X then pauses for .75~1sec and then repeats." It could be 2/3/4/5/6or 7 blinks before the momentary pause.

Please advise

So far I counted 89 green blinks then the continuos red ones. From the Sony site I gathered that the Lamp is out. I hope thats all thats wrong with it. The Lamp should be in within a week or so. Please let me know if on the right track.
