KDF-E42A10 has led flashing 4 times. means the fan for lamp is not working properly. replaced fan lasted 1 week, replaced again about 1 week. fan will still run. the fan detection circuit must be bad.
anyone else have this problem

More then one fan inside that set...
there are at least 3 fans.....the Squirrel cage fan
sits above the lamp and ballast is the likely
culprit....did you replace the square upright
fan or cage fan?....

the A10 Sony lcd series...is a tough
engine....to get into..with q block right in the way..

i replaced the lamp fan motor. square upright. The odd thing is when I
replaced fan set works immediately, then after a week here we go again. i
pull the optics and check for dust in the small fan.
