hi.

have a sony lcd tv
model kdl-37v5810.....turns on with green standby light only, no display, has sound that's it no back light etc.
can anyone advise or help me on this one please asap.

i think its the inverter board at fault.

You may be able to see a barely discernible image with a flashlight nearly against the screen if it IS a bad inverter.
