Hello guys i need some help with my sony bravia tv kdl 42w654a the display is showing some red vertical line, when i open up the tv back cover i noticed the ribbon cable connecting to tcon board is sparking i posted a link video below, is there a way to fix this issue?..thanks

1) Replace the panel or
2) Repair the tab by using a professional tab attaching MACHINE (or send to a panel repair business) or
3) Find some way to make the contacts that are arcing make a tighter connection (piece of non-flammable foam?)

Thanks for posting a video. i'm having a hard time interpreting some of it.
Is that ribbon connector sparkling like a fuse? or is that the light from the panel behind it.

Are you fixing microwave popcorn, or is the TV making that sound?
