TV was given to me by friend?, told it was working until knocked off stand. Now turn on BRAVIA displays for a moment then turns back off. Acts like a hold in ckt isn't working. I haven't noticed any blinking red lights, but where should I be looking for any trouble codes?

Agree on that, went back and checked again, no lights on what so ever, push power button Bravia will display with no other lights on, then shuts off. What I was wondering is if I can jumper anything to power the tv and see if the basic tv is alright before I start chasing loose connections and bad cards or would I be better off tossing it?
