Hello, can someone please advise on a repair of a Sony KLV-L32M1 LCD tv?

It currently has a very dim screen, the picture can be seen but with no backlight. There is also a flicker in the screen.

I have the service manual however my previous repairs have been on CRT monitors and TV's not LCD.

Does anyone know of a common issue with these TV's, or suggest where I may look to find the fault?

I have confirmed that the 105v, 30v and 16.5v rails are working.

If theres definitely no backlight, then the thing id check for is power going into the inverter board with the set on. If as I suspect there is power then the inverter board would be the likely culprit & if not then either the PS or mainboard, although as to which I think youd need to further diagnose
