I am working on a Sony KP-57WS500. How wll i disconnect the high voltage wires from the HV coils? I've been pulling them out so hard (with the rubber boots off already) but they won't come off. Help is very much appreciated. Question Question

Have you ever removed a bayonet-based lamp? Well this is similar. Grasp wire, push inward, rotate CCW 1/4 turn, pull outward.

JTS1957, You're definitely right. After reading your instructions, in 15 seconds, it's off the socket. I'm ready to discharge the tubes to ground. Again, thank you for the quick response.
