My Sony KV-32HS510 won't turn on and blinks six times. Every once in a while it does turn on and works flawlessly until we accidently turn it off or lose power. Is there a "startup circuit"? Where should I start?

SIX Blinks---No Horizontal (H STOP), no raster, goes to the blinking selfdiagnosis
function immediately. Check C515 & 516 and the jungle IC, IC206.

The above comments comes from a Sony website on the diagnostic blinking codes or flashing. Since your model is not the same as the one referenced, the numbers for the parts may be totally different, but it seems that many blinks is related to loss of horizontal deflection troubles. When the horizontal deflection amplifier fails you lose high voltage and the raster is completely gone.

It is not a home remedy; it will require an experienced tech who knows how to diagnose the problem, locate the defective components and replace them. Then, it must be checked out and some alignment or adjustment of the horizontal synchronization established.

So, take it to yoru warranty/repair station right away to get the solution started.

If you want more about the blinking codes, just put the words "sony blinking code" into a google search and you will find more references on their diagnostics, but 6 blinks always comes up as horizontal failure.
